Tommy is a 23-year old double-communications student, with a major in journalism. Pre-COVID-19 he was managing a Levi’s store, and certainly hopes to go back once things get a bit more normal. He’s an avid cooker, loves playing sport and just generally being outdoors. And he actually produces his own music under the name Boutros. We sat down with Tommy to chat knock on effects of coronavirus, what he’s been up to and what brands he loves.
Q1 – What do you think of the Aus Government’s response to the Covoid-19 pandemic?
I think it was a generally good and well received response at the beginning, Liberals essentially employing Labour tactics. However, they are rushing through the recovery in my opinion.
Q2 – Have you found any new interests or skills during iso?
Nope, but working towards having enough confidence to actually pursue a hobby was nice.
Q3 – What is something that has stressed you out recently?
Not knowing my fate in regards to work, it was yanked out of my hands.
Q4 – What brands are you really into at the moment and why?
I only buy vintage really when it comes to clothes. Levi’s use 1% of the water they used to, to make denim – which I love. Patagonia is doing cool things, and Afends is using hemp. These are the brands I would purchase from.
Q5 – What TV shows and/or music are you vibing right now?
Midnight gospel is amazing, crazy visuals with a really important and philosophical discussion taking place. Essentially a podcast with visuals.
